About us

IQ Samhällsbyggnad - the Swedish Centre for Innovation and Quality in the Built Environment - was founded in 2010.

We are the result of a merger between the Swedish Construction Sector Innovation Centre (BIC) and the Council for Constructing Excellence (BQR).

Our mission is to add strength to quality work and innovation processes in the construction sector.

Change involves an interplay between the government, the industry and the research community. Our role is to weave these spheres together.
